Yes. Each stringer lists their reel stock by brand and colour (Yonex BG80, Yonex BG65 Ti, Yonex BG-Aerobite, Victor VBS-70, Babolat…). You select an available string, set the tension to the half-kilo, choose the colour when several are offered and can add a grip.
For casual play or beginners, a tension around 20 to 22 lbs (9 to 10 kg) is more forgiving and easier on the arm. Club players often go up to 23 to 25 lbs (10.5 to 11.5 kg) for more control. Higher tensions are for experienced players. Always check the maximum tension printed on your racket, and ask your stringer if in doubt.
The price depends on the stringer and the string you choose. On Smasheur, the price of labour, string and options is shown on the stringer's profile before you order, so you can compare stringers near you.
It depends on each stringer and their workload. Once your order is placed, you follow its progress in the app (accepted, strung, ready) and know when to collect your racket, without having to call.
